Import Wizard

The Import Wizard allows you to import data from other software and previous versions of Smart Diary and Smart Diary Suite.

As the first step, you need to choose the correct program or format you are importing your data from. Click Next.

After that find and select the relevant file and, if you are importing from a previous version, enter your diary password (if you had any). Click Next.

If you are importing vCalendar/iCalendar or a vCard, then at this point your data will be imported. If you are importing from a previous version, then on the next screen select the features you wish to import - this will vary depending on the version you are importing. Click Next.

After that you can select the life factors you wish to import and also either match them to existing life factors or (in case of Smart Diary v2) choose not to import or (in case of Smart Diary Suite v3) choose to create a new life factor with the same configuration and import data in to it.

When you are all done, click Finish and at this point import will start. Depending on the number of entries you have and the speed of your computer, it could take a few minutes - please be patient and wait for it to finish.
