Automatically run on Windows startup configures Smart Diary Suite to run each time Windows starts up.

Show splash screen while loading allows you turn the splash screen shown during initialization on or off.

Start minimized makes Smart Diary Suite not appear when loaded, but instead get minimized.

Minimize to system tray places the Smart Diary Suite icon in the system tray when it is minimized. You can use your right mouse button on it to bring up a menu or double-click it to restore Smart Diary Suite to its previous size.

Minimize on closing allows you to configure whether SDS should be closed when you click the close button or minimized to prevent accidental closing.

Always show tray icon toggles whether to show or hide the system tray icon when SDS is running.

Go to this mode when starting sets the initial mode that you will see when Smart Diary Suite is loaded.

Automatically open current diary next time configures whether you wish to open this diary next time Smart Diary Suite starts or if you will be presented with the Welcome dialog using which you'll be able to create a New Diary or open an existing one.

Check for updates when the program starts if set will silently check if there's a newer version available for download. If your version is up-to-date, then you won't see anything, otherwise you will be presented with a dialog saying that a newer version is available and you'll have a chance to download it then.

Select color theme allows you to change the default color theme to another one. The themes will change immediately when you choose a different one, so you can browse through them straight away and pick one that feels the best to you.
